Dr. Alex Fry
Originally from Adelaide, Alex moved to Perth to study optometry, graduating from the Doctor of Optometry program at the University of Western Australia .
Alex has gained valuable clinical experience in a wide variety of settings, including Vietnam, the Pilbara, and across South Australia.
Alex developed her passion for optometry through her own experience as an orthokeratology (Ortho-K) patient and the positive impact it had on her vision and quality of life. This personal connection sparked her particular interests in myopia management, specialty contact lenses, and dry eye disease.
Alex is a therapeutically endorsed optometrist, able to prescribe medications for a range of eye conditions. She is committed to providing thorough, personalised care and helping patients achieve their best possible vision and eye health.
Outside of optometry, Alex enjoys keeping active and can usually be found playing hockey or running. She also loves discovering new places to eat and exploring everything that Western Australia has to offer.
